He is currently serving as Head Conductor of the Holborn Community Orchestra, having previously been Assistant Conductor to Thomas Carroll at Orpheus Sinfonia. During that period was also selected to participate in masterclasses with among others Jorma Panula, Marco Angius, and Martin Sieghart.

William has recently worked with orchestras including the Haydn Orchestra at the Vienna Musikverein, the Cameristi della Scala Milano, the Târgu MureÅŸ Philharmonic, Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, Reading Symphony Orchestra, I Maestri London, the Czech Chamber Philharmonic, and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
