We are HCO
We are an amateur orchestra welcoming audiences and players from across London.
Since 2016, the Holborn Community Orchestra has been rehearsing and performing in beautiful venues around Holborn in central London.

Our mission is to help make music more accessible, to players of all levels and backgrounds and to a diversity of audiences. We keep rehearsal and concert fees low and offer relaxed performances to attract a wide range of people to engage with us and with music.

We play a variety of repertoire, from major works of the baroque, classical, and romantic periods, to lesser-known masterpieces, and new compositions and arrangements by our members.
We look forward to seeing you at our next concert.
Join us
We rehearse on Monday evenings and perform about three concerts per year.

We are now back to rehearsing and performing regularly, while taking precautions to protect our members and audiences and reducing the spread of COVID-19.

We are a friendly and welcoming orchestra and are always excited to hear from players interested in joining us. We are especially keen to hear from double bass and brass players.
