Holborn Community Orchestra (HCO) is searching for a new conductor/musical director to start in January 2024. We are an un-auditioned amateur orchestra based in Holborn who rehearse on Monday evenings 7.15-9.30pm. Our forty-strong friendly and capable amateur orchestra tackles a range of challenging classical repertoire and holds 3-4 concerts a year including a relaxed performance aimed at welcoming young families.

This part time position includes a per-rehearsal fee of £100 and a performance fee of £150 (with annual review by the committee). The conductor/musical director will be responsible for selecting the orchestra’s repertoire in coordination with the committee as well as liaising for concert logistics and deps.
